Anyone interested in some winter rides? I think Leb, Murphy, Salem and Elk River are open for winter riding. I know it's frigid now but maybe when temps get above 20? I was just wondering. I was thinking Sundays? Anyone? Am I looped in the head?

Yeah, I'd do it. River bottoms is good for winter riding too. Nice and flat mostly as well. Loopy? You? Naaaah! Wink

Theo is open in Winter. I don't have a winter capable bike (no Epic in winter. Stumpy shifter goes kaput in the cold).

Hey, how about a winter fun ride on the afternoon of the 24th? I found a nice route starting from my place in West Bloomington that is a mix of paths and trails. I was able to ride it with my SS MTB bike using regular 2.1 tires. Or, we could hit up the River Bottoms for a bigger ride. Big Grin

Stay for the Vikings Silly-ball game too if you want. Bring the kiddies with sleds and skates and stuff too if you want.

(O'Cary - You could use my regular geared mountain bike).

if you guys wanted to car pool down to mankato. there is some great winter riding on the rivers around here. view it as an opportunity to check out some new scenery and a chance to get out of the burbs. check out my blog posting from last winter to get an idea.
