Another great turnout for BCR in MNSCS #2 - Rochester Cycling Steeplechase. Dan, Wiken, Adam, and Lalla in the Comp race, and Lisa, Scott, and Tyson in the Sport race. Rodney was there too, sporting a cast on his leg in BCR colors! The conditions were not too hot and the new course got high marks for the fun and technical singletrack and an uphill climb that was challenging (but not too steep!). A very well run event.

Next up is MNSCS #3 - Afton Avalanche (remember - team picture will be done there). Also this coming weekend of June 10th BCR is sending a team to the TOMRV bike ride in Iowa.

A great turnout for BCR riders in MNSCS race #1. In the Sport race there was Lisa, Rodney, Scott, Tyson, Brad, and Theron (in his first Sport class race after conquering Citizen class!). In the Comp race, Marc and Adam were representin. There were a few mishaps (get well soon Rodney!) but most made it through the very fast course in style.

How does riding in the rain when it's 40 degrees out sound? Answer: FUN!! The Cable Off Road Classic still saw a turnout of 300 riders on a challenging point-to-point course consisting mostly of twisty singletrack. Adam, Dan, and Scott tackled the "drier than expected" conditions. A broken seatpost binding bolt ended Dan's ride only 5 miles into the race, but Scott and Adam endured to the end.

Next up is Erik's Spring Cup, and it looks like sunny skies and warmer temperatures are on tap. Finally, summer seems to be arriving ...
